Hello!
My name is Tiffanie, and I use Shroomie as a nickname in video games, which I'm a fan of, especially the RPG kind!
Shroomigurumi is the contraction of Shroomie and Amigurumi :)
As a kid in the 90s, I grew up watching fantasy and magical movies (Willow, Lord of the rings, Practical magic, Hocus Pocus etc...) and they influenced me greatly. I spent hours playing role playing games with my neighbors and friends, inventing magical fairy stories, or becoming elves heading on crazy adventures.
Now an adult, I still sometimes imagine that I'm a magical pixie, in my little forest cabin in the Alps, where I am also a homesteader and where I invent magical patterns to create little woodland critters, cosplay accessories, as well as fall and Halloween inspired things (Autumn is my favorite season!).
Everything you see here is thought, created and handmade by me.

Work ethics & Quality
I live an ethical and eco-friendly lifestyle and I mostly work with natural fibers (wool, alpaca, cotton) and try to be as ecological as possible, even with the materials I choose. Quality is very important to me and I carefully pick my mats, while still aiming to remain as affordable as possible.
All the yarn I use is Oeko-tex, and I am against animal cruelty. I usually use brands known for their quality and their ethical ways, and I buy handmade as often as possible. I value small businesses like mine and try to get as many of my mats from these as possible (like the fabric I use for the bag linings and the colorful safety eyes, gemstones etc).
